Not sure if anyone will see this, but should I stay in speech and debate? The first meeting was recently and I’ve always been interested in it, but I don’t think I would be a good debater.

Yes!! I'm a 2nd year debater, and I almost quit. It was probably one of the best decisions of my life to continue debating. There are also speech events if you're not a big debater. Genuinely, speech & debate gave me a voice and a community where I didn't have one. I highly recommend sticking with it.

I’m pretty introverted so I wasn’t sure if this was right for me.
