Each chapter is "decorated" with a Chinese sign that (to my very limited knowledge) translates to 'wisdom', which is technically not wrong, but seems like the easiest way was taken, when with a little more effort one could have put the original titles of the chapters there. Just using a singular sign as a decorative element fails to show the appreciation this edition wanted to convey.

Finished 'The Art of War' not sure why it is in there twice, when the uncommented text and the one with commentary are the same translation, like you could have skipped the commentary easily if you weren't interested in it. Instead of the uncommented version there would have been space for another short text or at least a more current translation.

I am rather confused as to why this collection is called "The Art of War & Other Classics of Eastern Philosophy" because all the texts in there are Chinese. They were written in Chinese and by people from the country that we still call China today and though they were applied in other (East-)Asian cultures, they are Chinese in origin. Why be so unspecific about the contents when they can be summed up so clearly?
