Before I started reading this book I read a few reviews that said not to read it unless you're a huge baseball fan. And I'll admit that they were partly right. So far this is mostly the major character giving the summaries of the games he played with The House of Daniel. Also, he uses a lot of early 20th-century baseball slang, but most can be puzzled out by context.
