Utterly upsetting, I was prepared for a thriller, but I don't like reading about animals being hunted in detail :( I'm not yet sure if I like the main character, either. I like how much she knows about nature and animals, but I also feel a bit like she looks down on other people who grew up differently, not in the wild like her. And she knows it all from her child abusing father, who disgusts me.
