Faulkner is such a yapper. I'm skimming so much cos a lot of the stuff that is spoken feels boring, and the characters in "The Wild Palms" just suck and even if they suck, they fail to interest me in any way. The book is a chore to go through. "The Old Man" is a little bit easier to go through, but I loathe Faulkner's prose.

"Take my curse," goes hard though.
