I spent 7 years in academia before leaving due to the salad of all of the wrongs and inhuman treatment in the field so you'd think the book would resonate with me at some level. Instead I've been rolling my eyes so much they are about to pop out 🥲

So far it's like reading the ninth house but make it hellishly boring
