Same, Henry. Fucking same. This book should be a five-star read but I LOATHE one aspect of it, and that's Theophilus almost constantly thinking about someone other than Henry >_< I don't want to read about one of the MC growing closer to someone else!

@Alexia I DIDN'T KNOOOW!! I didn't do enough research lol, but yeah, I already had one or two meltdowns and had to put it down for a day... It's so damn painful even though the entire 'other person' conflict is all internal - but it doesn't actually make it any better!! Massive respect to the author, I love the characters so much to send me into a jealous rage lol xD

I'm glad you can see it with such a clear mind, dear ❤️ Because while I really liked Henry and Theophilus, I'm never going to re-read because of the huge stormcloud in the form of Dufresne that hangs over more than half the story, it's just too stressful for me, even if nothing physical happened (the emotions were still kinda there in my eyes) 😭
