I keep feeling like I should already know more about these characters & their histories. It reads as though I’ve already seen the meet-cute, Clermont’s trip to New Orleans, or how Silena helped Faiza elope. If I didn’t know any better, I’d think Peter and Silena were side characters in Clermont & Faiza’s story, and that this was the second entry in the series—maybe after a novella for Clermont/Faiza.
