I forgive a lot of John's sins because he's such an interesting character and that's way more important than being "good" but man this last chapter was so messed up (but I loved reading that climax). Very shocking and, one again, Muir's prose is like nothing else I've ever read.

This book...... Won't stop shocking me........ It's so crazy........ Every twist makes me more and more insane and I love every second of it......
