Why is Thoreau such an asshole?
He’s Amish cosplaying and definitely not secluded or cut off from society like I was led to believe. Trying to read it and even though I do agree with him on many thoughts about how to live he’s so privileged and very judgey. There I go judging him but isn’t that part of the point of reading a book?
Giving it my best to finish the book since it’s a classic.
