Looks great. I like Shapin’s writing and insights about science and the enterprise of building scientific knowledge. I still distinctly remember Shapin’s discussion of “the witness” and “witnessing” in The Leviathan and the Air Pump, which has been pretty influential for me on how I look at writing.
