The book, to often, compares Arab and Zionist ambitions and violence equally. It equates the violence of a settler, a coloniser, a terrorist with the resistance of the oppressed, the native, the majority.

It discusses how Palestine was promised to both the Arabs and the Jews by Britain when each group fought against the Ottomans. But neglects how only one of those groups were native— the Palestinian people.
