I struggled with this a lot, for a McCarthy book. How are you finding it?

It’s not my favourite of his but I’m enjoying it more than Blood Meridian, couldn’t get into that at all. I think it’s helping I’m doing it on audio and the narrator is engaging. I sometimes find it difficult to get the tone right when I read his prose with my own eyeballs and that takes me right out.
