A discourse full of non-sequiturs, circular reasoning, deliberate ignorance of facts that doesn’t fit his thesis, tautologies, with misogyny thrown in for good measure. It might be good rhetoric (I remain skeptical) but it is poor argumentation. My guess is that philosophers of his time (theologians as well as natural phil) would have rolled their eyes of the reasonings that would have been known to not be correct.
