It's a buddy read, so I might need to give it another day or two. Or just skim it 😂
Nah, i read it and its not her worst but her writing is not suited to greek mythology
She makes all her characters sound so British 😭
Oh definitely which is why its not meant for greek mythology lmaoo but this was also the last novel i read of hers since mars house was a genuine nightmare comparing to watchmaker or bedlam or kingdoms
I can't decide if Valery or Mars House was worst 💀 but yeah, I think I just have to finally accept that I will never find the magic of her early books anymore. I guess it's also a a case of now I started seeing the patterns, so one book with iffy female characters okay, two... Must be a coincidence, but when all of them portray women so weirdly...
