I really like how the book ties the characters to one another. Both with location and plot.

I do like how things are left open as others are slowly brought together.

I do like how connected Tova and Marcellus’s stories are becoming.

The chapters never focus on the same character back to back, but don’t seem to have a really consistent order. It’s interesting at times but also a little confusing.

I am becoming less of a fan of Cameron every chapter he is in. I did like the change up of a full chapter focused on a pre established character though.

The multiple side plots going on at the same time is a little distracting and I wish the octopus’s Point of view segments were longer, but so far so good

The introduction of new characters and scenarios are a little hard to follow, but the octopus being used as a measure of time passing is really creative.

The sentence structure is a little hard to follow sometimes, but I do love the point of view from the octopus. The mystery of the disappearance is an interesting inclusion and takes a while to actually be brought up and expressed.
