So far, this book seems like an exercise in futility. The easiest way to solve their client’s query is to check passport records to see if her baby daddy is in New York as claimed by his family and friends. Instead we have a roundabout investigation, so much stupid Coromoran angst about being in love with Robin. More Robin’s trauma and conflicted feelings. All this in 200+ pages!
