Where’s he getting some of these stories? Since when was Moses a general leading the Egyptian army!? And promising to marry the woman who will betray her Ethiopian city? And then marries her! Where is she when the Hebrews escape Egypt? And what does his subsequent wife say about it?

Also, there’s nothing in the Bible (I checked) about Pharaoh being told a Hebrew boy will be born who will become more powerful than he and that’s why he commands all Hebrew babies born must be killed and Moses’s mother sends him floating off to where Pharaoh’s daughter eventually finds him. I think Josephus has confused this with another story.
