I felt this kind of unity last year during regional duels for wrestling. I remember the whole gym erupting when braxton won his match.

I think the author included this song because it's about how we aren't supposed to see our future. however, the book revolves around people being concerned with the strings, which, in a way, shows people's future. so the song says everyone is obsessed with something that people weren't supposed to know.
