Donna, I tried reading this years ago and gave up early on. I’m hoping to retry it with next years bingo… so I’m watching closely to your reviews 👀 I hope it gets better for you though!

Shaz, I recommend reading Izzah's review first. It's very well written. Mine will not be as gracious as hers. However, out of respect for Izzah and Gloria, I did finish it. I now feel as though I've been completely initiated into the Historical Romance club! I think the term Gloria used was "rite of passage?"
