I've decided that this book might just never end 😅 I think it's the density of the prose that's slowing me down. Yes, it's humorous and fairly straightforward as a plot, but there's a LOT of political and social analysis to unpick. Every sentence seems laden with underlying meaning. It's good, but as a busy mother I think I need something a little more light hearted forn my next read.

I'm enjoying this. I've read it before and enjoyed it then. So I don't understand why I'm finding it such a slow read!
