I just learned that the e-loan will expire regardless because the license is downloaded to my Kindle and will automatically close out the loan on the due date whether or not I’m connected to WiFi. Oh well!🤷♂️

Some fine stories here. I’m using an e-loan from a library. I turned off WiFi on my Kindle so that the book cannot be called back at the end of the loan if I am not finished. I presume it can be loaned out by the library to someone else in the meantime if my loan expires?

The collection of short stories that take place in the superflu-infected world of The Stand are generally very good! It’s a long book, not unlike its parent novel.
