I'm giving this three stars because I think the writing is strong for the most part. But I found these stories deranged, sadistic, grotesque and unpleasant to read. That's not through lack of understanding of what the points were. But way too much sensational incest occuring in half of them and a disturbing amount of feces mentions. I really liked 'Passion' though.
