I absolutely love small-town stories, and this one had such a charming, cozy feel. The slow burn was very slow, so I can see why some readers didn’t finish it, but I’m really glad I stayed with it. By the end, the payoff was satisfying, and the touch of justice made the journey feel rewarding.
