In the beginning, Day and June haven't talked to each other in 8 months. This is a long time for them because they really care for one another. I think the author is representing a "break" in their relationship. Carefully, Day finally approached June and things weren't the same. Accepting the fact that they haven't talked was super hard. Awkward. That's their relationship now. It's not good and they gotta fix it.

I'm reading the third book in this series and it seems really nice to review the characters and see how they're doing. In my book, a really hard decision came up. Thomas works for the military and so does his best friend Metias. Thomas was ordered to take out Metias by his boss. This is a really good part in the book because Thomas has to get his priorities straight. What's more important, strong friendship or a job?
