My theory is that Kyle's brother, Anthony, was responsible for Paulie and possibly Billy's deaths. Paulie's for sure. He's holding something over Kyle since she is obviously afraid of him. I'm a little suspicious of Garin's sister ... I think that she's the reason Anthony killed Paulie.

I take it back. I'm pretty sure Garin planned for him and Kyle to get kidnapped and held captive by Beard and Breath. IDC if he did get punched in the face a time or two, he's too calm, too positive that they'll get out alive. Besides he keeps her "laughing so hard" she cries ... not to mention all of the wild, very vocal, animalistic sex ... all of it doesn't add up to someone else being behind their abduction.

Ok Garin is definitely not in on them getting held in the cell.

Is Garin involved in their abduction? Is he only pretending to be a captive?

Paulie's murder was definitely the center of all the lies and secrets between Kyle and Garin.
Kyle stayed away from Garin and Billy after that night and then left town after school ended.
Garin was the one who found Paulie's body and he also fonf the sleeve of donuts he had given to Kyle before she left his house.
Why didnt Garin walk Kyle home that night????

Kyle obviously doesnt like her brother or is afraid of him. He either had a part in Paulie's death or knew what really happened.
Anthony also had anomosity towards Garin and Billy.
At the funeral, Anthony gets a phone call and has to leave ... my guess is that he has something to do with Kyle and Garin getting abducted since they left together.

Was it Kyle's fault Billy's brother, Paulie, die? Does his death have anything to do with her secret?
