The main character of my book is a 16 year old gang boss named Kaz Brekker. As a child he watched his older brother get killed by the head of a gambling house named Pekka Rollins, who had essentially cheated them out of thousands of dollars. Kaz is now practically leading a gang called the Dregs, but his past prevents him from trusting anybody, and he only focuses on the goal in front of him, money and revenge.

His entire existence in the Dregs is based around the fact that he is the perfect thief, pick pocketing, lock picking, even fighting, he's capable of. Yet, he learned and developed all of those skills for the sole purpose of returning the favor for what Mr.Rollins did to him and his now dead brother as a child.
