Beautifully written as I expect, but I must say none of the stories stick with me. This is my first read of Le Guin's writing set in the real world, which is a change from her Earthsea fantasy work. I learn that she was classmates with Philip K. Dick, whose non-genre novels I really liked, Puttering About in a Small Land and In Milton Lumpky Territory.
