Promptly added this to my queue. A coworker and I were just talking about this flick yesterday and its a perfect film.

I have read Wise Guy which is good as well.

I haven’t read Wise Guy but I did recently upgrade Goodfellas to 4k so I will be unsealing that after I finish this book. Have you ever read the Valachi Papers? I’ve always wanted to read that, to know where it all started.

There's a Bronson flick for that, right? Funny enough I was just looking at the 4k of Goodfellas on Amazon the other day. I played out the conversation with the wife where I justified an upgrade on the dvd and it didn't go well!

Wise Guy is great. There was a lot of stuff that never made it to the film.

Yep there’s a Bronson flick. I haven’t seen it yet. Funny; this book cross- references Wise Guy so much that I feel like I’m getting the gist of it.

Thats awesome. There's a big section of Wise Guy dedicated to NCAA point fixing with basketball if I remember correctly. I can see why it was left out but I think Hill did a stretch for it.

Wise Guy was a grocery store bin find. I think I got it for .25

This is probably in wise guy, but the cop in Goodfellas that puts Hill in witness protection (and plays himself in the movie), went to the university Hill brags about shaving points at, which causes the cop to almost climb over the desk to beat Hill lol. He had a surge of team spirit and felt his Alma mater pride was wounded.

I can't remember that scene although I was aghast that Karen had an affair with Paulie!
