I'm gonna stop reading this book...it's nice and all, seems well-written but it's just boring to me. I didn't note the subtitle that makes it clear this work is more about the lost contributions of the Eastern church to current "mainstream" Christianity. This book is probably interesting to (the 1% of) Christians wanting to learn more about the history of their faith, but I was just waiting for the lions to show up.
