I don’t really enjoy her argument regarding skepticism. I feel that I deserve creativity but I still lack a belief in a higher power that’s helping me. So, what now?

So negative self talk prevents us from pursuing creative endeavors because they stem from the Censor. To confront them you have to practice daily affirmations that act as a counter to the specific negative belief. To find this counter, you need to find the “blurb” or negative influence that came from a certain person or event in your life at some point. Kind of confusing, but I do sort of understand it

Negative core beliefs must be confronted. I will not be able to explore the art I wish to create if I do not confront the fear of financial instability that I carry

Just read the section on “shadow artists” and their goal of healing their inner child in order to move into the light

Finally finished the 3 introductory chapters, I feel much more prepared to begin the weekly program

morning pages are a form of daily prayer and/or meditation in order to unlock the pathway to your creative senses
