RACHEL CARSON MENTIONED LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOO

have come into oxford early to attempt a bit of work before I meet houlden. but I just want to write fic bc I havent had time in months. also lads place your bets on how many books I come home with today. my money is on two (I'm meant to be on a book buying ban)

i decided to put my drawing and poem from james above my schwab shelf (my letters from him also sit on the shelf next to my original falling apart adsom copies). also decided im going to send him a doodle of some antarctic species with my next letter.

my ‘kell friend’ and i, who entered my lore in second year (the one who errr learnt the antari spells…), have been sending each other letters (he’s working in aus atm but is coming to stay with me for a bit in december yippee) and i got one this morning. and he has written a poem and drawn me a ship. gonna cry.

while I'm back working from home I'm back at my routine of working in cafes. and so when I walked into town today I expected to see the Shakespeare ghost. however he was not there to wave at me like usual when I walk past him :/

for obvious kell based reasons I will NOT be finishing my threads reread on the train tomorrow and instead will begin this. I have heard mixed things about this, some people saying its very field science and ecology focuses. I'm definitely not an ecologist ( I <3 geochemistry) however I do love fieldwork. so we will see what I think
