so Shelley can write "What did he there" and it's absolute fiction but if I do then it's grammatically incorrect

"Her disposition was gay" "Henry rejoiced in my gaiety" "everyone was gay" sure

1831 version is slightly less incestuous I'll give it that

"Thus strangely are our souls constructed, and by such ligaments are we bound to prosperity or ruin... Destiny was too potent, and her immutable laws had decreed my utter and terrible destruction."
