Strange things happen here at GR. Yesterday I was tidying up David Malouf's books which were in an unholy mess with many editions of his books not kept together with other editions... when I came across a zillion editions of Jane Eyre under his name, a problem beyond my pay grade to fix. (Joke, GR 'Librarians' are all volunteers here). A quick request to the 'superlibrarians' and today it is fixed. Well done!

Glad that was fixed but I think the Goodreads data is actually much more of a mess than the other sites which allow people to catalogue their books and correct errors. It's a real hassle to persuade someone to add things and to sort out problems - two examples were that lots of different selections of Katherine Mansfield stories got merged, and two totally different novels with the same title were combined - Another Country by James Baldwin and Another Country by Anjali Joseph.
