I think I’m too old-fashioned to appreciate this historical romance, as contradictory as that may sound. As someone who values honor, bravery, and courage, I found myself failing to root for the MMC even on the final page. And as someone who values fairness, I can’t - in good conscience - support the MFC’s misplaced anger. I will write a real review later.
