In Book 4: God emperor of Dune

Lots of philosophy being delivered. It has been intellectually engaging separating the useful words from the bullshit takes.

Good amount of action so far though.

Forgot I had this app. Chapter 16 of Children of Dune.

Good series so far.
Book 1 was good for world building, Book 2 was even better for character definition.

Book 3 (Children of Dune) has been set up excellently and it has much more drama (compared to the drabness of Book 2).

Love seeing the expansion of the universe and the even more mystical abilities of these “pre-born” entities.

Finished the first book! Great world building and physical storytelling. You can really get attached to the characters (or rather get into their minds and how they think). The general storyline was not my favorite, but that’s probably just a personal opinion. The first book does set up the rest of series remarkably well, which I will continue to read.
