the only part i liked was the mmc and robert scenes
what little of it i skimmed

everything else was trash
i’m glad to be done with this shit author and their series

from chapter five to the end i was chapter page skim reading

that ending was confusing
the stuff about this claire person

i thought she has a relationship or one night stand with the mmc at one point, but at the end he and his fmc wife left claire in the future, an inheritance

is she actually a descendant of theirs ??

while this book supposedly has modern mmc going to past to fmc from that time

i’m predicting i won’t like either mcs

modern mmc will be obnoxious and putrid
past fmc will be insufferable

ugh.

i predict this book three will be as shit as book two

i’m wondering if it’s bc book one had modern fmc traveling to past , meeting the mmc from that time
that fmc was more relatable

while book two had past fmc going to future with modern mmc
i think i just despise this dynamic done here, the writing and plot made both characters atrocious. could not root for them at all.
