This reads like a slightly different style of writing compared to book 1, and I don’t mean the author has gotten better. The story is good and the characters are great but there is to much going on. The first book only had a few characters we had to follow, book 2 had a couple more but was still able to show character development, this book is trying to give a backstory and side quest to every character, even new
