dude oscar wilde is genuinely just blowing my mind like how can you write such timeless depictions of humanity with a mere hundred pages of text? with mere quotes that leave me staring blankly at a wall because what do you mean you echo all the whispers of the dark so easily?

"What are you?"
"To define is to limit."

aight dorian what the hell bro.

i was willing to overlook a lot of things but DUDE. TOO FAR.

absolutely horrified. 🫪

"Dorian Gray had been poisoned by a book."

hadn't we all ❤‍🩹

"Besides, nothing makes one so vain as being told that one is a sinner. Conscience makes egotists of us all."

how poetically scandalous.

i'm doing it. I'M DOING IT.
i will finish this before the month is out, mark my words. it's been on my currently reading shelf since november 🫠

do i dnf... for the fifth time..? its been actual months... since i last touched this book...

finally past 40% lol😭 i'm telling you fifth times the charm, this time i'm finally gonna finish it 😌

the longest i've ever gotten on this book is the 30-40% mark 🫡 and mind you, i've tried to read it a good four times, just never managed to finish it. it's not a bAD book; in fact, it's quite an intriguing book, so i never know where the fault lies. probably just with me, ngl *cry*
