Started this book for a book club, and honestly would have stopped reading somewhere between pages 50-100 if I didn’t commit to it. The chemistry is all tell at first, within the first 2 chapters. Insta-love but in a manufactured way. The writing is also very repetitive and feels like there was no professional developmental editing done. Both backstories were shared too soon, so no suspense.
