It reminds me a little bit of “Out of the Silent Planet,” but I’m not fully sure where it will end up yet. The protagonist does not seem as intrinsically good as Ransom and seems to be pretty easily manipulated. Also I am not sure if the underlying message is quite the same or will turn out to be totally different. We’ll see!
