holy sh*t. mandy is in a dv situation with her older brother. this is one of those classic "issues" books that don't come out anymore. gonna do this bit by bit....

Tracey hasn't got much news, I think we know why (spoilers are everywhere) but she has things to say. Mandy's voice sounds identical to Tracey. I think Mandy is middle class. She talks about making money by working at Safeway and babysitting and her older sister is at university. Ha! I know what I would do for money at that age

My god I can’t believe this was on internet archive and I didn’t have to BUY it!!! Rare for books of this age. This wiki page makes it look like EXACTLY my sort of thing…
