I DO understand where Alice is coming from and why she's like this, but I also feel like she has a lot to learn and that a few more things are going to slap her in the face soon enough.

I am 100% that people who said that this reads like a textbook have never read a textbook in the lives bc... wym?? She's just drawing parallels and describing what, how and why like come on!! And it's insanely interesting and ofc well written.
