Reading this on a plane to go see Stephen King was pretty much the best. This is a shockingly fast read for such a doorstopper of a book. And, oh yes, it's wonderful.

Wow what a fast read. This is amazing. I love it when he brings characters from other novels in as little treats for constant readers. I'm so reading this with my "Stephen King Universe" book at hand, so I can look up characters with familiar-sounding names. #DorkAlert

Talk about a book that grabs you from the first page. I picked this up at a B&N right after it came out about a year ago and read the entire intro just standing that. I never do that (it seems wrong, somehow). Anywho, am finally picking it up to coincide with going to see the man himself next week. This will constitute one of my two carryons.
