So far my favorite chapter is Saving the Filipino Patient. The stark contrast when Doc Baticulon compared how much of a fighting chance a 10 year old boy from Melbourne has compared to a 10 year old boy from Manila gives me the chills. And the line "No wonder 5 year survival rates approach figures I only get to read in journals and textbooks, often even better" 😢
