Oh god - will this book ever end? There is a terrifying apparition though. But I have no clue why this god forsaken house has to be built when so many people have died or gotten hurt. Did they have to hurt Dag - especially after his Erik lost his wife - now he may be losing his son? I don’t like it but I have come too far to DNF it. I am a glutton for punishment.

Oh god this is taking FOREVERRRRR! I don’t understand why I can’t get into this book. Maybe it’s because these insanely competent people hired a suicidal, on antipsychotic, child of a drug addict, identify theft nanny to take care of two innocent children who just lost their mom? Apparently these people interviewed her and nothing was off. Ok - it’s just too convenient. I hate when authors are lazy.
