This is the second book in a week that I've read with kids riding stallions (and turning them out with mares?). Kids and studs just don't mix, unless you are Alec Ramsay. Even then, the Black was always a hair trigger away from going berserk. This pulls me right out of the story and makes me hope the characters' parents have really good insurance.

Not sure this is going to be my cup of tea. How could Logan have left his young, emotionally battered wife alone for FOUR freaking years? Trying to keep an open mind here.
