👌 love having a FMC explicitly described as being broad-shouldered, with a "barrel curve of a stomach, thighs like pillars, heavy muscle generously smoothed with fat."
This is far from the large FMC in a T Kingfisher novel I've read, but I always really appreciate how explicit and unapologetic she is about how not every woman in her stories is a petite little waif.

I'm starting to get 'The Hollow Places' vibes from parts of this book! This one is nowhere near as creepy as that one, but it's certainly getting a bit eerie!
