I feel like this is the first book lovers story I'd read where they don't mind writing in books and actually engage with the text they claim to love, instead of just acting like reading makes you better than everyone. (although they picked like the most common classics, at least pick something that wasn't on everyone's high school syllabus)

Both of these people are very resentful and bitter towards people in their lives and it doesn't make them very likable honestly
