I saw this when I was in TO and thought about buying it. Any good?

I'm really enjoying it, but it's heavy, detailed historical reading. It's not a light read, and some parts are pretty dry. I like it since I'm a history nerd, but if you're looking for something exciting, this isn't it. Put on your tweed coat, your spectacles and dig in tho!
